Introduction
- The main objective of this reseach group is the development of computational systems which are at the forefront of artificial intelligence.. For example, we are now doing research on subjects such as conversational systems which interact with users using natural language, comprehension of texts expressed in natural language, intelligent information search on the Internet or performance protocols machine learning for decision making.
- For these developments, our group uses and does research on Computational Intelligence techniques, such as fuzzy logic, probabilistic reasoning, case based reasoning, bioinspirated algorithms, neural networks or support vector machines.
Developed systems
- Virtual Simulated Patient (VSP) Embodied conversational agent with the role of a virtual patient for training sanitary professionals.
- Emotional State Control System Intelligent system for controlling the emotional state of an embodied conversational agent.
Developing systems
- Virtual tutor A conversational agent which answers the questions that students ask him automatically.
